Welcome to Falah One. By downloading, installing, or using the Falah One mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Falah One, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Falah One is an Islamic companion mobile application that provides tools and content to assist Muslims in their daily worship, including but not limited to:

  • Prayer time display and tracking
  • Qada (missed prayer) calculator and tracking
  • Quran reading with translations and audio recitation
  • Dua (supplication) and zikr (remembrance) collections
  • Hadith browsing and search
  • Islamic (Hijri) calendar
  • Spiritual goals and amalan tracking
  • Qibla compass direction

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Creating an account is optional. You may use the core features of Falah One without registering. If you choose to create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Community Submissions

4.1 User-Submitted Content

Falah One allows users to submit dua and zikr collections for community use. By submitting content, you:

  • Confirm that the content is authentic and sourced from recognized Islamic references
  • Grant Falah One a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the submitted content within the App
  • Acknowledge that submissions are subject to review and may be approved, rejected, or modified
  • Understand that approved content may remain available even if your account is deleted (in anonymized form)

4.2 Content Guidelines

All community submissions must:

  • Be authentic Islamic content from verified sources
  • Include proper references (hadith source, scholar attribution, etc.)
  • Be accurate in Arabic text, transliteration, and translation
  • Not contain any offensive, misleading, or fabricated content
  • Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove any content that does not meet these guidelines.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 App Content

The Falah One application, including its design, code, and original content, is the property of Falah One and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5.2 Third-Party Content

Falah One incorporates content from the following sources, used in accordance with their respective terms:

  • Quran Text: Arabic text sourced from Tanzil.net, used under their open license for non-commercial use
  • Quran Translations: Various translations including Sahih International, Abdullah Basmeih, Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, and others, used under their respective licenses
  • Dua Collections: Includes content from Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim) and other authentic Islamic reference books
  • Hadith Collections: Sourced from authenticated hadith databases with proper attribution to scholars and graders
  • Prayer Times: Calculated using established Islamic calculation methods via the JAKIM API

5.3 Trademarks

The Falah One name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Falah One. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

6. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

Important: While we strive for accuracy in all Islamic content provided through the App, Falah One is a technological tool and should not be used as the sole authority for religious matters. We recommend:

  • Consulting qualified Islamic scholars for religious rulings (fatwa)
  • Verifying prayer times with your local mosque or religious authority
  • Cross-referencing Quran translations with multiple sources
  • Using the Qibla compass as a guide, not an absolute reference — consult local sources for precise direction

We do not guarantee that all content is free from errors. If you notice any inaccuracy, please report it through the App's reporting feature or contact us.

7. User Responsibilities

When using Falah One, you agree to:

  • Use the App in a respectful manner consistent with Islamic values
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Not submit false, misleading, or fabricated Islamic content
  • Not use automated systems to access the App or its services
  • Report any bugs, vulnerabilities, or content errors you encounter

8. Availability and Updates

We strive to keep Falah One available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance and updates
  • Server issues or technical difficulties
  • Force majeure events beyond our control

We may release updates to the App from time to time. While the App is designed to work offline, certain features (such as content sync, prayer time updates, and push notifications) require an internet connection.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Falah One is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of prayer times, Qibla direction, or Islamic calendar data — these are provided as aids and should be verified with local authorities
  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as Falah One is free)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Falah One, its developers, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting a notice within the App. Your continued use of Falah One after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
